USE YOUR OWN VALUES
Configure this tutorial
Set the example values for your environment; related explanations and copy panels update together. Never enter passwords, private keys or tokens. Values stay in this tab and are not sent to the server or share links. Check actual DNS, certificates and network policy before running commands.
Different IP addresses, domains or ports? Open the settings below, change the values and select “Apply to tutorial”, then copy the updated commands.

LET’S BUILD
Finish the disposable exercise without pruning the daemon
Run this only when the whole disposable exercise is finished: taking down blue also removes the gateway even if green is running. Stop blue first so it releases its attachment to green’s external network, then remove the green project. No named data volumes were created, and no volume/image/system prune is needed.
The root-owned source directory and pinned image remain for review or the next authorized lab run. Retain relevant logs and checksums before removing known lab files through normal storage cleanup. This tutorial supplies no recursive deletion of an arbitrary configured path.
Disposable Linux lab VM; same authorized Bash session
docker_lab compose -p 'academybg-blue' -f '/srv/academy-bluegreen-demo/blue.yml' down || exit 1
docker_lab compose -p 'academybg-green' -f '/srv/academy-bluegreen-demo/green.yml' down || exit 1
docker_lab ps -a --filter 'label=com.docker.compose.project=academybg-blue'
docker_lab ps -a --filter 'label=com.docker.compose.project=academybg-green'Only the two selected disposable projects are removed; the gateway is intentionally offline and evidence files/images are retained.
