Privacy
How the Wiunix public website handles information submitted through the site and the operational data needed to keep the service reliable and secure.
Scope of this notice
This notice describes the public Wiunix website and information you choose to submit through public website features. Authenticated products, customer environments and contracted services may have additional terms, data-processing arrangements or notices appropriate to their scope.
Information you provide
When you use the public contact form, the site can receive your name, email address, company, phone number when provided, subject, message and the consent value submitted with the form. Please do not place passwords, private keys, access tokens or unnecessary sensitive information in a contact message.
Technical and security information
The service processes technical request information needed to deliver and protect the website. For contact-form abuse controls, the application derives a cryptographic hash from the request network address and stores that hash rather than the raw address in the contact-submission record. A limited user-agent value may also be stored with the submission. Security telemetry such as aggregated Content Security Policy violation information can be retained to diagnose unsafe or broken browser behavior while reducing unnecessary payload detail.
How information is used
- respond to requests and continue a conversation you initiated;
- route an inquiry to the appropriate Wiunix function;
- protect forms and services against abuse;
- diagnose reliability or security problems;
- meet applicable operational, legal or contractual obligations.
Retention
Wiunix uses policy-controlled retention for operational records rather than treating website data as permanent by default. Actual retention can depend on record type, operational need and applicable obligations. Records may also need to be preserved for a legitimate security, legal or contractual reason. The public notice intentionally does not promise a shorter period than the configured and applicable policy can support.
Sharing and service providers
Information is shared only where needed to operate the service, respond to a request, use an approved infrastructure or service provider, protect systems, or meet a lawful obligation. Wiunix does not describe a data sale as part of the public website operating model.
Your request
You may contact Wiunix to ask a privacy question or request access, correction or deletion where such a request is applicable. Identity and legal requirements may need to be verified before a request affecting stored information is completed.
Changes
This notice may change as the public site and services evolve. Material changes should be reflected on this page. This text is an operational website notice and should be reviewed for any jurisdiction-specific legal requirements that apply to Wiunix.
